Prayer: 'O God, sometimes in this life believing is difficult. Various forces and circumstances come our way that place our beliefs under attack, and we begin to feel that our spiritual foundation is shaky at best. We are even tempted not to believe. Come to our aid in a special way during these times, and let us experience a renewal of our faith. And despite life's many disappointments and losses, remind us that through it all You have never left us nor betrayed us but held our hand, sometimes even carrying us when we were not even aware of it. For this we give You our deepest thanks, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.'
